BASES, SHIPS, AND COLONIES
1. While stationed at a base or colony, your suit is repaired instantly.
2. If you are stationed in a place that comes under attack, you will automatically defend it.
3. The owner of a place must send me permission for you to enter the place, unless the place belongs to your side or team.
4. If entering a place you own, ignore rule #3.
5. You cannot enter a place on friendly terms, then destroy it.
6. Ship Damage: [Fine - Caution - Critical - Wrecked]
7. Ships must be repaired at a Space Station. Rates are set by the owner.
8. If a ship takes damage beyond "Wrecked," it is destroyed. Wrecked ships have impulse power and can travel at the speed of a Suit without a ship.
BATTLES
There are 3 types of battles:
Ambush: The "victim" does not know that you are about to attack but will learn who you are during the battle. High probablility of winning. Moderate risk. 7 VP for win, 4 for loss. $20,000 to each.
Duel: Duels can be held between two or more people. All players in the duel must send an e-mail expressing their willingness to enter the duel. Equal probability of winning. High risk. 15 VP for win, 10 for loss. $50,000 to each.
Black-Out: The "victim" never sees you. They will never know who the attacker is. If there is an enormous difference in the VP amounts, a clue may be left behind. High chance of winning. Low risk. 5 VP for win, 2 VP for loss. No money awarded.
1. Put '(Battle type) (enemy)' in the subject line of the e-mail
Example: 'Ambush Turn A'
2. After you send me this e-mail, I write the battle and post it.
3. You cannot attack someone who is healing/repairing.
4. You cannot attack while healing/repairing.
5. "Heal" applies to the pilot, "Repair" applies to the suit.
6. If your pilot dies, you keep the stats, but have to create a new pilot and are dead for 7 days.
7. You must be in the same place as your opponent.
8. You cannot attack someone from a base or while on a base.
9. If you have a large weapon, you can fire on another suit from a day away.
EVENTS
Events are a miscellaneous type category. They typically encompass attacks on bases, colonies, ships, etc. The pay-offs for these are huge, but the risk is enormous. You can die.
It is recommended that only large, experienced suits attempt this in groups. In addition to the target itself, you will have to contend with its defences and its owner (and owner's allies) if stationed there.
1. Send an e-mail with "Attack (target)" as the subject line.
2. Like battles, I will write the event and post it on the events page.
3. You must be at the place you attack, that is: When on L3 you can only attack bases or ships on L3.
4. If you earn Hacking credits in the university, you can try to hack places. If successful, you can detonate it or give yourself access to it. Not likely to work unless you have many, many credits. If someone stationed there has many Computer Systems Defense credits, you will probably be detected.
5. A suit with large weapons (i.e. Twin Buster Rifle, Destruction Manipulator, etc.) can fire on items from a day away, once it has over 100 VP. It may not be as effective, though.
6. Once on a planet/colony, it takes a day to travel to the base. When you send your notice to travel to the base, you should add that you plan to attack it.
TEAMS
1. Must have a Leader and Co-Leader with more than 50 VP each.
2. Must have 3 non-Leadership members.
3. Use a good team name. Don't use names like "Da pimps" or "Mega Killers" or "The Best Team in the world"
4. Names from the Series are fine, like "The Moon Race" or "The Treize Faction".
5. To Found a team, each leader should send an e-mail with:
Team Name:
Leadership:
Members:
6. To add future members, one of the leaders should e-mail me with the suit names of the players to add.
7. Don't add people who don't want to be on your team.
TRAVEL
1. You can travel once per day.
2. You cannot travel if injured, repairing, upgrading, or are out for any other reason.
3. Ships cut travel time in half.
4. You can travel to empty, open space if you want.
5. If you are already traveling and are in the same space from Earth as someone else, you can battle each other. You will stop traveling to repair/heal, then continue traveling again.
UPGRADES
1. An upgrade of your suit occurs for every 100 VP you obtain.
2. If your suit does not have an upgrade, I will create one for you.
3. All suits can earn atleast 4 upgrades.
4. VP stands for Veteran Points.
5. Must destroy/detonate your suit to upgrade.
6. Detonation costs $100,000
7. Upgrading takes 10 days.
8. If a new upgrade is created for you, you can name it, but put some thought into it. Try to make it like your previous (Alex = Alex Mk. II or Alex = Blazing Alex)
